Daniel Buwalda
Senior Consultant
Daniel advises organizations and companies at the intersection of public interests, politics and strategy. At IvCB, he is committed to effective advocacy and strengthening public-private relationships, with a keen eye on geopolitical and social developments.
He previously worked for advocay organizations in healthcare and the business sector, and as a political advisor for a pan-European political party in Brussels and The Hague. His background in law, governance and (inter)national decision-making enables him to quickly grasp complex issues and translate them into strategic advice. He holds an MSc in Law and Society and a BA in International Studies from Leiden University.
Daniel combines analytical acumen with a sharp political intuition and a natural curiosity for societal dynamics. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling off the beaten path and seeking freedom on the water.
Whether it is about legislation, reputation or societal impact – an effective advocacy strategy starts with understanding who is at the table, and why.
