Colin Tibben is an intern at IvCB. As a result of his interests in economics and politics, his decision to be working at a Public Affairs firm was a logical step. Since being a student, he has been living in Leiden. He studied International Relations & Organizations. Besides, he also completed a bachelor in International Business Administration at the VU in Amsterdam. He soon hopes to graduate from his Master Economics & Governance.
Via an Erasmus exchange he spent half. year in Valencia (Spain). This not only offered him an opportunity to increase his knowledge in Mediterranean cooking skills, he also managed to upgrade his Spanish language skills. Moreover, during his time as a Board member of the West Wing – the student thinktank of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs – he was actively involved in drafting various policy papers: ranging from Venezuela’s oil crisis to the European Migration Pact. He spends his free time with playing hockey, kickboxing, and cooking with friends.
During his internship at IvCB he aims to gain an insight into the way which Public Affairs operates. Also he aspires to find out what topics are most dear to him.
