A stronger voice against child exploitation

Challenge

Our client is an NGO dedicated to the (online) safety of children worldwide. Its success depends on the support of a diverse network of stakeholders. To secure sustainable funding for its projects, it is essential that these stakeholders recognize the value and societal relevance of the organization’s work.

Approach by IvCB

IvCB started with a comprehensive stakeholder analysis to map the NGO’s current relationships and identify opportunities for new or strengthened collaborations. Building on these insights, IvCB helped develop tailored messages focused on child labor and online sexual exploitation — emphasizing the NGO’s critical role in safeguarding children, both globally and in the Netherlands. These messages were then shared with policymakers and political stakeholders. The outreach proved successful: a dedicated campaign on child labor was launched at the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, and several policy dialogues and technical briefings with Members of Parliament followed.

Result for the client

The messaging and strategic engagement approach helped address sensitive but urgent issues in a constructive and credible manner.. The NGO continues to build on these stakeholder relationships, reinforcing its legitimacy and ensuring continuity for its key projects.
